In the Shioiri-Cavanagh effect, a texture is briefly blanked, then reappears rotated by a small angle; rotation is perceived the opposite direction. Here, by clicking one of the "Normal Shioiri-Cavanagh" buttons, you can see this effect for a 2-frame blank, and a 5° rotation. The "Ghost Shioiri-Cavanagh" version is identical, except the rotation is reduced to 1°. In the "ghost" version, an extremely fast and disembodied rotation can be perceived, similar to the other ghost rotation demo.
